Resides in Tecpán, Chimaltenango. Elvia belongs to the Women’s Justice Initiative which is located in Patzún, Chimaltenango. Their main work is the empowerment of girls and women from rural communities to prevent violence against women and girls, as well as the prevention of early marriage. Elvia works as Program Director, coordinating with other organizations and community leaders in the implementation and evaluation of the organization’s programs.
