Originally from the department of San Salvador in El Salvador, she currently works at “Asociación Mujeres Transformando”, which is a feminist organization with a class conscience that promotes the empowerment of working women of maquilas and home embroiderers for the demand and vindication of their labor rights. She works as a psychologist and is responsible for the personal development and political advocacy of the women with whom she works. In addition, she is part of the Board of Directors for a volunteer organization called “Líderes Solidarios y Voluntarios de El Salvador”, of which she is currently the General Coordinator on a voluntary basis.
