Resides in Guatemala City, and has 10 years of experience working in development organizations. He has held positions on the Board of Directors in two Civil Associations that promote education, health and capacity development. Dimas belongs to Catholic Relief Services, an agency dedicated to implementing projects focused on food security, sustainable agriculture, nutrition, health, microfinance, education, migration, climate change and disaster response among others; currently coordinates and leads the financial education component and local savings and credit groups in the Chiquimula, Zacapa, El Progreso and Baja Verapaz regions.
