Transform relationships between individuals and organizations through Restorative Practices

The world is changing rapidly

The mission of the collective is to transform the relationships between individuals and organizations through Restorative Practices to influence and build a more inclusive, collaborative and equitable society.

Societies, organizations and businesses offer few spaces and opportunities to learn how to organize, communicate, resolve our differences and celebrate our achievements from a collaborative approach.

Every day it becomes more evident that circular models of interaction and participative leadership styles are more effective, powerful and even more sustainable.

With this in mind, the Association for Leadership in Guatemala has promoted the creation of:

INTERNATIONAL COLLECTIVE OF RESTORATIVE PRACTITIONERS (CIPR)

What are the objectives of the Collective?

>> Make available to Guatemalan and Latin Americans training in Restorative Practices, as well as accompaniment in Restorative Practices.

>> Strengthen the Restorative Practitioners who already have training, providing them with frequent opportunities to perfect their skills within a Collective that offers support, feedback and continuing education.

>> Offer restorative mediation in spaces where the implementation of restorative processes is necessary.

>> Impulsar el estilo de liderazgo de integridad, inclusivo, participativo y respetuoso que ALG promueve.

Restorative Practices are tools to resolve conflict and restore relationships after they have suffered damage. They are also a wonderful resource for celebrating achievements and strengthening the positive nuances of human interaction.

These practices create a different way of living in the world that impacts interpersonal and community relations and have the potential to positively influence human behavior to strengthen society.

What are the applications of Restorative Practices?

They are applied with excellent results in a diversity of social environments from families, schools, prisons, companies, associations, populations affected in crisis, communities and even justice systems and governments. They help the whole organizations to function more effectively.
